    It goes in the EAR socket. It should work with any spectrum theoretically but the timing differences might matter. Two Magnum sets were sold with different tapes (48/+2 or +3) but I don't think they are both tzxed.

    If I recall correctly it wasn't interupt driven for reasoning of timing accuracy rather than need for the full CPU power.

    Either way if it's four times faster than 50Hz that's still only 200Hz - well below what you need for passable samples.
