You can record a .wav and either use that, or convert it to a format like .tzx
The short answer re. mp3 is "no". Lossy compression designed for music is no good for storing speccy tapes, at least not with lots of tweaking of encoder settings. -

Many TZX files are without custom loader. My TZX2TAP pointed by Ralf is perfect to convert them to DivIDE. I use it often too.
There are some TAP sites around but with denied stuff, so I do not post links. -
