Hope your build went well msansom. I also built a Rev G, but focused my build on being NTSC. Works great. I modded mine for S-Video output which comes in handy and cuts out the dot crawl I was getting with composite. -

Connecting the luma circuitry to the TR2 emitter will work also of course but do not see any difference in quality compared to a connection to the luma output at the RF box. Dot Crawl is definitely out :-). Nice overall picture finally!! -
