Funny that all copies of Arkanoid that crashes on +2A/+3, crashes too on Timex, but they crash differently!
On 128K machines, the game crashes silent but on Timex they crash on a sound loop.
The hit squad edition works on Timex too. -

You have to do as suggested, 'cause, depending on the keyboard issue, you'll get different values for the topmost 3 bits.
