    I would've been a super genious as I spotted 2 differences instantly, and as not to spoil it for anyone else I'll just say it did not have the desired effect. In fact I've seen many of these and they are yet to get me.

    I wrote a program that does just that, because my cross-assembler of choice (Tasm) doesn't have a binary include. I tried out Pasmo but some of the stuff I do in Tasm isn't doable in other assemblers (it's macro stuff).

    Two very obvious possibilities spring to mind:

    1) The data is corrupt
    2) The emulator is bugged

    A good clue as to which can be determined by running the tape of a variety of emulators and noting any differences...
