I have had exactly the same thing happen with my divide black. Pull the divide out of the speccy and slowly reconnect it back together. Make sure they fit squarlly to each other. Iv seen this 2 times now and what Iv just said has fixed it. -

That's not to say it'll definitely happen though :) Best approach is to try the DivIDE out, then if it doesn't work, change the Z80.
