Well, with the budget of £30 you will be targeting a black +2 (+2B in +2A case) in the bottom end of the scale. Have a look at SMR where you can find a decent DivMMC for £30-35.
Anyway, good luck with finding a nice +2 -

Many thanks the schematic :-). I did solve this problem by swapping the Z80 as the original one was missing the M1 line and this is needed by the Divmmc reader.
