what is the best way to take a metal keyboard surroundoff of a rubber keyed spectrum without damaging/bending the metal plate??
I usually heat the metal faceplate with a hair dryer. This weakens the glue in the double sided tape that keeps the faceplate attached. This makes it easier to pry it off with a knife plus you are less likely to bend it. -
