Lots of games were like that. I stayed up all night seeing out of the hundreds of cassettes I have, which ones still load in. A lot of them seemed pretty tough and pointless.

for me its the fall guy or jet set willy title screen music,both 48k tunes.I never really heard many 128k tunes as i tend to stick with the 48k speccy. -

Jet Pac is the stuff. My fave Ultimate game, and one of my fave Speccy games.
But they weren't the gods they're made out to be. Just check out the keyboard controls on Sabre Wulf - were they on crack or something? -

Far too many games could never be completed, Jet Set Willy 2 & Death Wish 3 spring to mind. I never completed either of these, as I refuse to use pokes.

I completed some of the later games, and a lot from Ocean/Hit Squad. But they were easy by games of the Jet Set Willy era. -
