    Using a shifted byte table makes a lot of sense. I had always been stumped about how to do large sprites. Even for small sprites preshifting them uses a lot of memory.

    Yeah, those were Kendo Warrior and Deep Strike. Thanks! Did't realize spectrum could render 3d wireframe landscape with sprites so fast. Althought the game itself is obviously unplayable today, too hard to aim for enemies and hit your buddy all the time :(
