esxdos doesnt support Long File Names (LFN) yet!

It is actually the lack of LFN support that currently keeps me off esxdos. Other than that its a pretty awesome firmware for the DivIDE.

I don't see me returning to FATware.
MS-DOS simulator or not, esxDOS is great and allows me to SAVE* and LOAD* directly on FAT/FAT32 CF.
Maybe it's limitation of 8+3 filenames are from +3DOS implementations.

Just read the post about Rui Ribeiro. Is he Portuguese? If so it's good to know that a few Portuguese have contributed to the Spectrum world. I think lfaria (who helps with preservation) is Portuguese too, and we have Phoenix who brought us esxDOS. :)
