    I thought Sony had it so that if you got a firmware update you were screwed with homebrew and if you didn't you were screwed with new titles?

    Has that situation changed at all?

    To find out what firmware you have click on settings then scroll down to system settings then system information.

    any idea of what version firmware it's running? if it's 2.0 or lower you can pretty much run homebrew on it as it is, that being the case you might make a tidy profit on e-bay

    Yep, it's 2.0 firmware.

    However, I don't think I'll be selling it - it's kept the missus quiet all night.
