If you're using a Windows emulator like zx32 and a Sidewinder gamepad, it's possible to set up a game profile for the pad whereby the joypad buttons replicate key presses. Do this with the bundled profiler software, not from within the emulator. -

I agree with thomas3120, the gamepad is king. I use a Comcon interface with my two-button pad, and it allows me to play games using both buttons, so now Atic Atac can be played without touching the keyboard!
