The most unique game loaderFor me it has to be Technician Ted, when the stripes give way to walking men and a timer.
Text corrupt the screen, so showing text while loading will get sad that naked babies in Mojon Twins games.
The border in ZX Spectrum is (almost) useless, so that's a good place to put the loading indicator. -
