Yes, there are IRC programs for the mac although my firewall doesn't like them! What I was really getting at was using iChat which most mac users have and it is well integrated for contacts and so on.... -

Fuse does have full screen, in the SDL version. I guess it's a limit of GTK+ (?) that prevents it on that version. Fred, I do recall getting the same glitches on my mac mini when I first got it.
Seems to have gone away now though. Only thing that's changed (I think) is the automatic upgrade to 10.3.8
