    Being pedantic, the frame counter is 24 bit. The manual solves the problem by reading it twice, and taking the higher result.

    I was toying with the idea of providing a replacement for ZXF on my site. Much like the way Colin has suggested.

    Anyone mind if I take this on? Or does someone else want to do it?

    It's sad to see such an excellent publication coming to an end, but good luck to Colin. ZXF will be greatly missed.

    I'd be prepared to help out with the replacement in some way, whatever is decided.
