    Thanks but it is not just speeding up the emulator but a hardware emulation unique to some Russian Spectrum clones.

    St for sure. St had slightly faster processor than Amiga, no extra hardware,midi ports and an AY chip. That's a similar parallel to two other 8-bit computers that I cant quite think of....
