I like them both equally. 2D games like Sabre Wulf, Jet Pac or Underwurlde are superb, like 3D Knight Lore, Alien 8 or Gunfright. -

Isometric games - rotational or directional control?I always found rotational control totally instinctive on games like Knight Lore but the subject is polarised it seems. What do you think?
I find rotational controls completely unintuitive for isometric 3D games. The controls fit more naturally for 2D games (e.g. Asteroids) and the Freescape games. -
