For what it's worth, I've not noticed any issues with my Spectranet and Harlequin with CMOS Z80.
I do have the series resistor fix in place on the Spectranet though.

Currently my Harlequin is sitting in my DKTronics case, but some of the keys don't work properly so it's not a good permanent home.
