Not sure if this is the same game but I have copies of total recall by both Ocean and The Hit Squad. These are both avalible in the tzx vault.
Is there a different version or a totally different game you are talking about ?

As far as I can remember, yes it was only budget stuff that was copied. I think it was only a few select companies, as I never bought a Codemasters or Hit Squad game that had to be copied, but Encore and Players games definitely were. -
