swimming was okay. skeet shoot and archery were ace. vault thing was okay but a bit fiddly.

weight-lifting was horrible.

It's a favourite of mine too. I've beaten the first two events (swimming and skeet shooting) more times than I can count but I always used to f*ck up on the third (long jump?).

I played the Spectrum version of Hypersports' forerunner (erm, no pun intended) Track and Field for the first time last week. It wouldn't look out of place tucked away in the middle of Cassette 50 IMHO...

Daley's Decathlon is probably the better waggler (for having more waggling in it) but Hypersports is the better game overall.

Track and Field on the PS1 remains my fave ever game of this type though.
