Legend is an awesome book, heartily recommended. Another brilliant tome is Lion of Macedon; Gemmell at his peak, I think :-) and my personal favourite. A book without a single flaw. Perfection. -

Multi-loads really ruined a lot of the experience for me back then. Gauntlet wasnt so bad as it didnt take too long for the extra levels to load. I loved getting my +3 though so multiloads were often a thing of the past. -
