    Wow, looks pretty darn good for a BASIC game. I really thought there must be some machine code in it somewhere, as I thought the graphic would be much more jerky and flickery for BASIC.

    It's not as difficult as it seems. But a good guide is vital. I recommend The Complete Machine Code Tutor by New generation software. You can download it from the site for one of the emulators. It is superb.
