I remember keeping my ST and having and Amiga 500 as my one of my ex school chums went to a A1200. Very happy with the A500 although I did play the STE a lot even then. -

Yes, on an unexpanded A1200 emulation is a pain.. but If I remember good, ZXAM and Speculator were best.
