I really like River Raid. I find it really relaxing which is a bit odd for shoot-em-up! -

I voted for 3D Starstrike, Beach Head, River Raid, Sky Ranger and AD Astra, being the best Beach Head.
Sky Ranger by Microsphere is technically very good. A nice surprise. The others are very cool shooters. -

Looking for artist: Loading screen for River Raid cloneWell, working name is "creek ride" but it is straight clone of 2600's River Raid.
What I lack in talent, I make up with tools =) That was made in few minutes simply by loading it up to photoshop, cropping and adding the text, and then fiddling with a couple options in image spectrumizer. So it's literally the 2600 river raid box art. -
