Indeedy, Ninja Warriors has it's interrupt routine in a contended RAM page on the 128/+2 (page 1).
It shouldn't crash but the display will be corrupt.

You don't even have to turn Auto load off or eject the existing tape.
Just File->Open the saved game tzx when you need it :)
