    I gotta say, I liked nearly every issue of Crash till its dying day. But now you mention it, the "returning" issues with editor Lucy and the cartoony reviewer heads did suck.

    The Amiga version has a level editor, and lotsa colour and is all remakey. Have a look at that before you start, it's just about as perfect a version of HelterSkelter as you can get.

    And you can export the level data :)

    What GOC is trying to say is use TASM as a cross-assembler.
    Write the code using your favourite text editor (I use UltraEdit) assemble it using TASM and you can then load the binary code created (the .obj file) in to Spin.
