I agree with people about Kung Fu Master. The arcade version ...

I had Kung Fu Master on the Amstrad and that was a superb port. The Spectrum version is definitely lacking, although I suppose that more often than not it was the other way around.

Kung Fu Master is an example of how bad were made some arcade conversions.

I'm thinking of other horizontal-scrolling shooter ([I]Green Beret[/I]), KF Master would have been a very good game in this way.

I like [I]Kung Fu Master[/I]. Well, ok, it's not a very good conversion, but it brings back lots of very fond memories.

A bad game indeed. Had it featured graphics/movements/colours similar to those in Yie Ar Kung Fu, it could have worked nicely.

scooby doo was a similar type of game, and well programmed.

A local corner shop had various arcades over the years, I loved Kung Fu Master! Bought the speccy version and I have to say it is a toss up between this and slap fight conversions that were the most disappointing games ever played!
