Can't say I could recognise specific games - unless they had a distinctive loader. I can recognise the distinctive sound a loading screen makes though. -

I have a 128k version of Cabal, which loads from BASIC-128 or from TAPE LOADER, but hangs if loaded from BASIC-48. I think it's because of ROM paging. But before I discovered this i doubted if my emulator is bad or if tzx-file is bad. -

I also can recognise Tomahawk as this had a very distictive loader, check out the tap file. Also it had an interesting multicolour boarder on loading :) -

No, because custom loaders do not CALL 1366, and without this, the loading routine cannot be traped.
