No, because custom loaders do not CALL 1366, and without this, the loading routine cannot be traped. The only way is to crack the game by hand, to use CAL 1366 or BASIC loader. -

Not in BASIC, that's for sure.
Generally, you just copy the loading routine from ROM (remembering to fix up the absolute references) and twiddle the bits which set the border colours. -
