That sounds more like the first one. In 'Lords Of Midnight' Morkin had to travel north to destroy the Ice Crown while the other characters battled Doomdark's armies.

I quite like "Lords of Midnight", but personally I found "Doomdarks revenge" an unplayable pile of poo, and I thought the graphics looked like illustrations from a Dr Seuss book. Not good at all. -
