    I think the DivIDE page-in works on an instruction fetch for all entry points including reset, so if you have a bad M1 line it'll never page in, not even on boot (I think that's what it did when I plugged it into a Spectrum with a known bad M1 line).

    Have you tried another Spectrum?
    I don't know which Spectrum issues contained a faulty M1 line. Issue 4 may have been one of them.
    I assume you have tried with no IDE periphials attached.

    If you still can't get it to work, it may be that the M1 line of your Z80 is faulty. At least, this was the case with my (original) divIDE. I've not got round to changing the Z80 yet, but have another machine that works fine.
