I must say Ultimate. Their quality and innovation were excellent! Atic Atac, Cookie and Jet Pac are all top class.
Other great software houses include names like Mikro-Gen, Quicksilva and dk'Tronics. US Gold also published many good titles. -

i loved the artwork on the lords of midnight / doomdarks revenge games. Some of the ocean efforts - Kong , Hunchback were good even if the games werent. Also the mikro gen covers were nice - Automania , 3 weeks etc. -
