    I remember there was a 8x1 multicolor mod for Spectrum 48K, but I cannot find the link anymore. It was rewiring of ULA to get Attributes from 24576 and get one Attribute for each screen byte.

    …and it's a biiig problem for everything else, especially for interrupt handling. for me it's better to have jump table anywhere i want and more troubles with multicolor than slightly less troubles with multicolor and big headache with interrupts. %-)

    I would never ever even think of using +2A or +3 to play Speccy games - the CPU speed is different and multicolor effects wrong or gone... Action Force II goodness only possible on 48k speccy
