think it is a possibility as there is a core for the mist been made which has the function of the multiface 128 and genie built in, it just needs implantation if there are enough bits in the fpga -

There's no real reason why you couldn't rewrite the Multiface 128 ROM to save the AY registers, as they are readable. Youl could cut out the hypertape/multiface/Opus/+3 stuff to make room. It's a big job though. -
