    Your question has no answer without context and your register name assumtions assume a register system based on 8 byte registers being combined - which is not the case for many processors.

    a few i play now and again are - worse things happen at sea (dont know any other games like this) , viking raiders by firebird , Android 2 by vortex , Cavern fighter by bug byte , master mariner by atlantis as well

    Ok, so wot I'll do is insert that missing byte in the TZX file and see it works properly. I do hope that is the only reason y the TZX files aren't working. If not, I'll just have to download the perfect tzx from the archives! :)

    on plain spectrum 48k, right after resetting PRINT PEEK 65530 will return 66, as it is the 3rd byte in the bitmap of the 'U' UDG character.

    i suspect he wanted to write PRINT PEEK 65535, which returns 0.

    55-byte header .z80 files are for the +3; check the description of xzx's extenstions to the format in the FAQ. It's certainly used by Fuse as well.

    I was referring to the Dragon Ninja disk working okay :p

    SpecEmu does have code to change which sector byte gets randomised. It's just not connected to any user selectable option :)
