I wrote a program that does just that, because my cross-assembler of choice (Tasm) doesn't have a binary include. I have a "hotkey" defined in CONTEXT to assemble the current "asm" file to a TAP file.
I use Spectaculator 6.25 as my emulator, and for debugging.
I use 7UP for Graphics
