I'll bear it in mind. Now what about the grounding of the PCB? Each screw point was earthed before, and now they're not. Well, not all motherboards need earthing, but is it worth assuming that this one does? -

Not sure at the moment (I presume the Spectrum+ therefore had more than one motherboard issue in its production lifetime). When I get home I'll whip the covers off and take a look (also, I presume the issue number will be printed somewhere on the PCB) -
