    Heh, no I wasn't meaning to clean the PCB. :grin: I meant to soften the glue to remove the keyboard plate by sticking the keybaord in a tub of very hot water.

    It could as well be double-sided PCB. It would need the thru-holes just to bring the lower surface tracks up to make the 40 switch surfaces (in case of a "non-plus" keyboard). No jumpers, no nothing.

    During my Speccy servicing days I saw once machine with PCB marked by Iskra. It was same as original. I suppose that Iskra made only boards and assembled machines.
