    It's my intention to ultimately make at least a small run of these boards. But it's a long way off yet :-) I doubt I'll be ready to get a PCB made until some time next year so don't hold your breath!

    Have you checked the MOS and BASIC ROMs? There are also a number of configuration jumpers on the keyboard - so a BBC might not start without a good connection to the keyboard PCB.

    Fortunately, the ROMs generally are socketed on a BBC Micro.

    Try to add one 4.7uF (or 10 uF) capacitor in parallel to 220R resistor. (-) pin to GND.

    And to me also - possibly compatible with the ZX81 given the shorter edge connector, although a close examination of the PCB would be needed to check that is the case.
