    The timer value is stored at 56634.
    So using POKE 56634,255 will give you a lot of time

    I can complete the first level sometimes. I haven't played much further. Playing as the Mekon is just a novelty feature. Theres a timer thing to avoid shooting at the start or you won't have enough time.

    It's true that DD2 is insanely hard, much harder than the original. There's a special covertape version (YS? SU?) with just the first level. I can beat the first level, but I've never come any further: the timer is just too f***ing tight. :o
