    I would recommend 'A whole new ball game', which was written by Pete Cook (of Tau Ceti fame if memory serves).

    For me the best was Pete Cooke. Very innovative. One of his games, Micronaut One, is one my all-times favourites on the Spectrum, an incredible game with great graphics for a 48KB machine, nice menus, etc...
