Just to sum the conclusions I've ... could be done, nor limited to Spectrum pixel art, but possible ... sprites.

Yes they are excellent examples of how RPG games can and should be done on the spec but it doesnt help with point and click games like MI. We need to build an engine for it so other adventures can be produced
