Try to replace the 7805 power regulator, its very easy to do, its the three legged thing attached on the heatsink. The fact that you cant get a stable rf picture suggests the problem isnt the rgb cable. -

The +2A, +2B and +3 do not have internal power regulator circuitry, the external power supply "brick" does all that and provides +12V, +5V and -12V supplies to the Speccy :smile:
