If I recall correctly they were just XOR'ed onto the screen. That is usually obvious by looking at what heppens when they overlap, but I can't check because it's denied dist. -

That would be one of the worst things that could happen. bSkyb would probably try to get the only licence for certain games which would mean they would then be denied games.
