Works in SPIN and SpecEmu for me. I think you have a keyboard that doesn't permit more than 2 or 3 simultaneous keypresses.

I just loaded Quadrax to check it out. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing in it but I'll figure it out eventually. The movement of the main character is brilliant, especially the climbing animation. It looks real. :)
