Right, a 48K Spectrum does not output its audio to the TV, instead there is a beeper built into the computer. If you have a standard + machine, it's a 48K with enhanced keyboard. -

Yes, both Livingstone and Sir Fred were spanish games. You can try Goody, from Opera SOft, and Espada Sagrada from Topo Soft, they are videoadventures, quiet similar to those games you mentioned.
