    Hmm... +3 DOS commands don't light my fire either. RAMdisk does sound good in that context although I do wish the PLAY command could be incorporated.

    Yes, the project I'm working on now is mainly asm with a little bit of basic. So, I'll continue to use SPIN for the asm part, but Basin remains invaluable for typing in those pesky basic tokens, Cheers DP

    Better still - is there a way to save the entire contents of the ramdisk (progs and screen$) to tape and then be able to load it back in from tape back to the ramdisk?.............crikey
