the transformer puts out about 216V.
the output of the original psu from sinclair(plugged into the transformer)is 12.83V under no load and I know the original psu is unregulated -

Any ULA from a Rubber keyed 48k will work.
Not sure about a 16k.
If you have another 48k try swapping them out.
You might also want to get a capacitor kit and check the voltages beforehand.
