    Mmm, I see a QuickSort is recursive and/or stack based. Not sure Sinclair BASIC can support this or has sufficient memory - what do you think?

    That algorithm is overkill for big/complex shapes. It will eat all your RAM with a huge stack. There are better algorithms which are designed to minimize somehow the amount of recursive calls.
